Thank you for your love and support, we couldn’t do it without you.
Welcome to the 2026-2027 Youtheatre season!
Youtheatre Auditions!
We had a successful afternoon of auditions! Thank you to all who came. To all we didn't see today, we look forward to seeing you next Wednesday, August 26th, 4:00-6:00pm (Come at either 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, 5:30. Just pick the time that works best for your family).
**IMPORTANT: We sent out an email last week to all our registered students. If you didn't see it, Please check your spam folder. It contains valuable audition and class information. **
As a reminder, Auditions, Rehearsals and Performances will all be held at the Nebo Summit Center (165 S 700 E) this year.
Since you are registered, you are ALREADY IN THE SHOW. Auditions are to determine which part/group you'll be assigned. I promise you'll have fun no matter which part you get.
Audition Prep- We will have 4 stations that you'll need to visit at auditions. (Check in first, and then you can go to the other stations in ANY ORDER)
1.
Check in-Get Name tag, Fill out Audition Form, Then get measured and have your picture taken.
2.
Dancing-Come prepared to learn a fun, short dance.
3.
Reading- We will have papers provided for you with lines from the show. You'll be given time to learn a few lines and then read them for us. This is your time to showcase your acting ability.
4. Singing (Optional) Come prepared with a few lines or more of a song to sing for one of our teachers, or just sing "Happy Birthday" This is optional for students that want a chance at a solo, or a group solo.
We are looking forward to another great year of Youtheatre!
NOW ACCEPTING LOGO DESIGNS
We are excited to announce that from now until Thanksgiving, we are accepting logo submissions for both shows—Frozen Jr. and The Wizard of Oz. While you can draw inspiration from the films and online sources, we encourage you to let your creativity shine by crafting a unique masterpiece. Please submit your Black and White (not color) artwork on an 8.5x11 sheet of white paper. For optimal results, it's recommended to begin your design with a pencil to allow for easy corrections, and then go over your final design with a black fine-tip sharpie. Voting will take place following Thanksgiving break.
Thank you and happy creating! We look forward to seeing your amazing designs!
